He teaches us to be grateful for the things we have, and to appreciate the small things in life. This is inspiring, and teaches us to appreciate everything. Whether it be that someone gave a compliment on your hair, or your child have you a drawing they made. He teaches us to be grateful for every moment we have.
He also shows us that He is the only true God. He will always be there. it shows us not to turn to other things even when we are down in the dumps. We must always turn to the Lord and know that he is good, and always will be.
