Answer:
“White Umbrella”
My essay is about the “White Umbrella”.The theme of the “White Umbrella” is sometimes you need to lose something or somebody to appreciate it or them for what they have and what they or it has given you.I think it is a very important lesson many people should learn and appreciate things and people before they're gone.
I did wonder why the narrator wanted the white umbrella so much.
The narrator compares herself to Eugenie and Eugenie in her eyes looks good with the umbrella, therefore, the narrator thinks she may look good with the umbrella. I think that that's why she may want the umbrella.
Another thing I wondered is why does the narrator want to tell Miss Crosman that she is the school spelling bee champion, that she isn’t ticklish, and that she can do karate? She wants Ms. Crossman thinks she is a perfect kid, better than Eugine.
I still wonder, if she compares herself to Eugine, why does she want to believe she is a better kid than Eugine?
Moving on I also wonder during the ride home, why does the narrator tell her mother, “I wish you would quit”?I believe it's because she is sick of her mother being tired constantly and unable to pick them up and go back to being a mom to her. I can relate to my biological mother never really being a mother to me So I can understand the feeling of wanting your mother to be there for you and be a mother to you.
So from the “White Umbrella,” I still wonder about many things. If I was to get into all of the things I wondered about the “White Umbrella” We could be here all day. So with that I
I am gonna consider this essay complete. I learned many things from the “White Umbrella” but I still have many questions and theories since I read it and started writing this.
